Robots Roll into Montreal’s Olympic Stadium to do Battle in First Robotics Competition – Admission is Free

Some of the most world’s most talented young robot designers are revving up their creations to compete in the First Robotics Competition, starting tomorrow at Montreal’s Olympic Stadium.

All students some as young as six-years-old have to build their robots from scratch. Teams then compete in their age group, to find out whose machines are supreme at handling a variety of tasks in this years theme – Destination Deep Space.

The Robotic Festival is a free event open to the public and runs from February 28 to March 02. The goal is to inspire all students to work on math, science, and technological skills.
